Been super busy with school and my external work.

Either that or I spent to much time with my awesome friends ;D

As you might already notice, my blog remained stagnant for quite sometime now,

although its the freakin' holidays.

Yup, the holidays I was yearning for weeks ago...

So I'm thinking whether to continue with this blog or just move to Tumblr.

I simply can't bring myself to blog nowadays. Maybe not yet.

Maybe one day I'll return.

Maybe tomorrow or the day after I'll blog again.

For now, I really can't tell seriously.

Probably the first and the last Singapore is going to host an Olympic event in my seemingly short lifetime.

Free bus/train rides for 2 weeks. Ahh~

So first up was a random invitation to attend Youth Infocomm Seminar 2010.
Seminar on the updates of Information Communication industry.
Study and jobs in the Infocomm industry local and abroad.


See that? $30Billion opportunity in Infocomm and IT!
And it's never going down.

Different participants from different school participate in games and stuff.

I'm glad to say, IT is the most dynamic path to pursue in.
Like c'mon, which organisation big and small do not require IT these days right?
From IT, you can pursue in other disciplines like business, design, engineering etc.
Cool? Hell yeah!

Next! Out with Irna!
It's been long since I hung out with this annoying friend of mine.
Not that I'm less annoying lah, but yeah. Hahaha!

Friends can be never be separated no matter what huh?
10 years since I know this girl, my bestfriend always. (:

Oh yeah so it was just an outing to catch up on things.
Went for a gig at Cineleisure also.
Been long since I've been there, been long since I attended gigs also. Haha!
Guess the most often time I go to gigs is with Irna. :P

Oh I had the most yummiest moment ever.
So yummy, I took a picture AFTER eating it. Hahahah!
I had Curry Chicken rice! Eat with the sambal provided, fuh! Power!
Irna's was Fried BBQ Chicken I think. Equally awesome!

Submission dates draw nearer and nearer on each passing day.

I'm truly not at my best this few weeks.

But I'm trying my best, to be at my best.

School is such a drag.

Sometimes I feel like dropping everything and go on working.

The pressure is always looming around.

And I'm not myself also.

Tired. Mood-less. Less-than-happy.

I need a life, seriously.

I need a friend.

Why the heck is the week going by so fast mannn!

It feels like Monday yesterday.

Ok not really yesterday lah, maybe 1 or 2 days ago. Hehe!

I don't know if its good or bad that the week is passing by fast.

A step closer (or faster) to the end of the semester.

A step closer SIP.

A step closer to Graduation.

Long days and sleepless nights.

A step closer to the bombardment of project submissions.

A step closer to presentations.

A step closer to exams.

A step closer to...errr.. well the hell of school.

Haiz, I'm so worried about this semester.

Already one module is making me feel that I'm going down the longkang (drain).

Oh the usual Communication Skills module. Sucks to the core!

Say goodbye to an 'A' grade for this module already.

I'm not good in writing seriously.

Nor am I good in coming out with "out-of-the-box-idea-but-noticably-unfeasible products/inventions".

I'm a realistic person. I'll come out with ideas that are feasible and fits today's technology. I'll come out with ALOT of "what if's" before coming out with a product.

Right now, I don't even know if its good or bad.

I don't know if its me or whether the question paper (and its requirements) are accurate.

I don't see the "sports for all" which means "general public" which means "all age groups" in all the products that was concocted by other groups. Geez. I'm so fed up!

I'm fearing I'm out of track, really. The current grade now is so disappointing.

None of what I blabber above matters anyway, like as if my lecturer would read this right?

I may hate YOG somehow. Haha!

Anyways spent the day with the Syalam Inc. guys. Initially wanted to go bowling at eHub Downtown East, but there was a school tournament going on. =.=

So end up watching a movie, Knight & Day.

Surprisingly good! Action + Comedy works for me! (:

Cameron Diaz is hot. I think. Hahaha!

Oh Syalam is 'Malays' spelt in reverse. LOL!

Have you seen that graffiti incident on SMRT trains?

The funny thing is,
I saw that graffiti while in the car over at Eunos, and thought to myself -
Hey this is damn cool man!
Didn't know it was vandalised. =.=" Hahaha!

Although I should, cos its only painted on one carriage right? :P
Imagine the whole length of the train! Wow. Hahaha!

Anyway, I got mixed feelings about it lah.
It IS damn nice.
But in terms of security issues, well that's something serious right?
The guy managed to breach through the train depot, through several security fences.
Which brings some to think, HEY its really that possible to breach ah? LOL.

So I guess they should beef up (more) security in transport systems.
Catching people eat on trains is utterly pointless. HAHA! side-tracked.

BUT STILL,
The graffiti is super cool. Creative much! I can't do spray-painting myself. Heheh.
I bet all the graffiti artists in Singapore will definitely praise this guy for his guts. Haha!
Trains will look more lively, rather than the boring-looking current ones.
And definitely more lively than that YOG cheer song. HAHA!

Oh yeah,
If you notice, I always insist on staying behind
while you guys get your food, you should know why by now. :\

Just an advice to all of you,
don't be complacent and take things for granted can?
There are so many "What if's" in life. ):
I'm just sayin'.

Term break is now on!!
But haiyah.. got projects to settle. -.-"
In some projects, I don't even know how to start! hahahaha! Die lah die.

Anyways,
Its been quite long since I update on activities I did with my friends. Whoops!

The recent ones would have to be the Pixar outing,
which was part of my Intro-to-3D module.
And gosh! The last time I've been to the Science Centre was like, 10 years ago? hahaha!


Overall, the Pixar exhibition was pretty cool.
I still find it hard to accept the fact that 3D exists in 1984. :\ LOL!!
And the drawings and illustrations of artists! Awesome-ness!
Their level of creativity and detail is... just indescribable.
The only downside of the exhibition is, we can't take pictures inside.

Next would have to be my 'Design in Culture' outing.
A day where we go around visiting places of worship to understand and learn about its architecture and culture behind each religion.

Kinda interesting to know that most of the places or worship was located near where the coastline used to be. Yup the sea used to be near their doorstep.
But now, its all reclaimed land and urbanised.

There are many more 'waiting-to-upload' pictures of outings lah..
But I'll just keep it to here for now. Hehehe!

So during the holidays now,
I'm just going to chill and do what I'm supposed to do.
The earlier its settled, the more time I have for other things right? hehehe

Earlier today I went to do my 3D city modeling. :D
Although 3D is not really my thing, I tried enjoying it nonetheless. ^^

Next, part of my city-building assignment, is my petrol station.
1 out of 7 objects I have to create.
Yup still got other buildings such as library, shopping malls, apartments etc to create! *faint*

The concept of my city is pretty modern, but not futuristic lah. Hahaha!

Sorry for the 21-day hiatus yeah. Hehehe!
I received "complains" and death threats from people demanding me that I blog. Hahaha!
Okay kidding about the death threats. ^^
Been busy with school and not wanting to blog lah. HAHA! Seriously..!

Well its that time of the month that I feel I'm in no dire mood to blog.
Which brings back to me being busy with school.
I'm tired most of the time.
Yet I constantly shrug that aside and enjoy being with my friends.
When I'm home, I had to settle with assignments and submissions
as well as juggling with my external work.
I almost lost my soul man. Haha!
Thank God I settled that. (:

So hey Happy Vesak Day!
Long weekend huhh?
I'm suppose to study for my term test by the way,
but I only manage to read through a fair bit of my notes. :P
The rest of the day I spent tweaking my blog,
Playing around with html codes. (Geek much.)
Yup, I re-organised my blog.
I find it therapeutic I guess. Hahaha!

Thank God again that I only have 1 paper to deal with. Hehe!

AND..
I'm kinda glad that I've kick that 'habit' (again).

Dealing with the withdrawal symptoms was damn tough,
especially during a time where I got many stressful things to think about.
My running nose and coughing fits continuously irritates me.
But its worth it.
I get to have clean lungs and save money at the same time! :D
Yeah more money to spend on food.. hahaha!
I eat alot nowadays, but still thin like a stick. ^^

Now, my addiction is Clorets sweets. LOL!
My drug to keep my mind away from those death sticks.

Why stop? For my health and for people that I care. (:

So if you're thinking to stop,
I managed to deal with the whole thing in less than 1 month.
2 weeks of withdrawal effects,
(Where your body gets working on clearing all toxins from your body.)
I pretty much dealt with it "cold-turkey" style.
I took little puffs in a few days, and till now after a week I haven't touch a stick.

I think friends around you plays a part too in helping you quit.
And saying "No thanks" if someone jio you go smoke. hahaha!

Human Computer Interaction (HCI)
Interactivity & Interface Design (IID)
Web Application Development (WAD)
Design in Culture (DinC) (Cross Disciplinary Subject)
CMSK4 Persuasive Presentation Skills.

The modules now are getting more and more skilled and technical-based.
What I like is that most of the modules are the fundamentals of web development.
Which is what I'm into now.
It's the REAL deal man..
Haiz I just hope I can take the heat. hahaha!

IN3D is interesting to learn, just like that.
Although I like it, I'm not taking it as a major in the next semester I guess. (:

My favorite would have to be HCI,
Its a subject that pretty much uses logic (which we all have right),
learning design concepts, on how certain factors affect the user/consumer.
I mean, we all are consumers anyway right? ^_^

AND GAWD this week was hectic man.
Attend school, (the timetable sucks by the way)
do my external projects, go back office a couple of times, late nights.
Wahhh I was drained!
To make it worst, I'm sick. =.= urgh!

But of all those frust moments,
I got one happy moment.

At last, something for my parents to be proud of.. (:

I think these awards psychos anyone to work much harder to stay on top.
Cos you'll always have this sense that people are putting hopes on you.

Last Monday and Tuesday,
I spent both days from 9am to 4pm delivering food rations
to the needy/home-bound individuals for the Eurasion Association,
of course with my one and only Rina (chey chey.. LOL!)
She's my date for 2 days. xD
With thanks to my lecturer Ms Josephine for the opportunity. ^_^

You can't truly know the whole story just by reading the title of a book.
You've to open it up, go deeper into its content
and (by going through it) understand what the story is.

Same goes for Community Service.
We often go on with our lives thinking that everything out there is alright.
Everyone is fine.
But truly and sadly, it is not.
We didn't open ourselves up to take notice of certain minorities living around us. :\

My experience during that 2 days?
From a simple service of delivering food rations, vouchers and money,
I get to see a bigger picture.
And that made me think that we had taken things for granted way too much...

Have you?

We often think about ourselves and not others.
I'm not saying that its wrong to care about ourselves first,
Its basic human nature. Right? That's survival.
But we also have to take time to think about others too - to assist when needed.
That's survival for Everyone.

Okay please think about our planet too okayy! hahaha! ^_^
(I'll touch on this issue in another post)

So yeah.. The pictures I took above are just a few..
I wanted to take pictures of us giving the rations to the recipient,
but I think not lah.. Should respect their privacy.
Somemore I'm using my camera phone
(Nokia 5800 - which have no silent mode option when taking pictures. How annoying)

So I went to Yishun, Chua Chu Kang, Marsiling, Bukit Gombak, Bukit Panjang, Bukit Batok, Jurong West, Boon Lay, Clementi, Whampoa, Ang Mo Kio, Boon Keng and some other unknown roads/places.
Yup me and Rina kinda covered a big chunk of Singapore in just 2 days.
And through that, we managed to find places never knew existed
and cool spots for photography too! (:

Some are found along corridors and staircases. wahlaoz! xD

Oh yeah.. I thought the community service involves other student voulunteers too,
but it turned out to be only me and Rina, plus 2 other regular (husband-wife) volunteers. haha!
So only 4 of us. Which is practical too..
can't possibly send a bunch of people to the homes of people right?
And the regulars thought we're in for only 1 day.
Cos they said, students usually volunteer for 1 day out of the 2 days to complete the deliveries.
So I don't know what to comment on that lah ya.. teehee!

Okay thats all..
Gonna do something else now.. :\
Probably at home today. Tired to go out. hahaha!
