Just as people thought the recession is enough to worry about. Haiyah.
But I think for the health-care industry won't be affected lah, since its recession proof.
Swine Flu? Just another revenue for them lah right.. $keching!$ ahaha!

So I'm sure you're concerned about the coming epidemic.
The government and private bodies are already preparing for the worse.
But no worries, I'm sure we're prepared.
Just don't you gatal (itchy) go Mexico for holiday this long weekend hor! lol!

Okay theres this few recycle bins nearby,
so I decided to observe how many people actually use the bins in a period of 10 minutes.
So at the end of it, 5 people used it.
If count me its 6 lah.. I throwed a plastic drink bottle. hehe.
Not bad right?

BUT!
I took a picture at the end also.

This picture tells me a few things..
(See the yellow shoe box)
ONE! This person dunno that the box is paper material.
TWO! Maybe the box can't fit in the small round opening of the bins.
She shy or maybe not strong enough to crush the box lah.
TH-REE! This person just put the box according to the color of the bin. -__-"

Haiyah.
I think the design of the bins above are not effective.
Yes, theres pictures on bin, but its not clear.
The words indicating the material is vertical/on its side/sideways
(oh whatever lah. just see the pic. haha)
NOT CLEAR.

I think its human nature for a person to look & read simple words to do a simple task.
Pictures don't necessarily mean clarity.

I notice that when this person wanna do his/her bit for the environment,
he/she needs to spend around 6 seconds to figure out which bin to throw their rubbish in.
And during that moment, the brain already burned 0.1215413 calories
and used up 15.154721% of the total body energy.

So in the end, the chances of the person (or Singaporean)
throwing the rubbish anyhow, at any bin, is 99.8%.

So to me, the better bins should be like the ones below..

The words maybe sideways/vertical, but at least the colors contrasts against the color of the bin.
Not cluttered-looking, with big lobangs. haha!
Therefore, chances of a person NOT throwing anyhow would significantly improve..hehe!

But some are idiots think recycle bins are are like normal bins. Don't care! Anyhow campak only.
But then again, at least they don't litter la right. ahahaha!

Too worried about the cake going wrong to go take pictures and stuff.. ahaha!

So after the baking is done,
out of the big cake,
I cut/chop and..

How I cut the number 9? precision bebeh! using a knife, a cup, a round cookie stamp
and a picture-memory-to-object projection skill. o.O?
ahahahahaha!

But nothing of that can compare to this!
(note: I can't find pink vermecelles rice. At Haig Rd got, but far la seh! haha!)
Pink is one of her favorite colors.. :P

So I bought the mix-of-seven colors bottle..

Yeah I meticulously sort out the Pinks!
And the Whites too.. scared not enough pink lah. wahahahahahha!

I would leave food in the kitchen for 8 minutes,
and there will be ants feasting and partying like nobody's business!
Lucky it will only last for a few months.
Certain ants will emerge on certain months if u notice. ahaha!

They hibernating somewhere around the house.. nabeeey.
If only I could exterminate them all! muahaha!

The last few days I've been out.
Not those normal outings with friends and stuff.
Out with my parents and lil sis to Pasir Ris Park carpark. ahaha!

She taking Driving Test soon lah.. so abit kanchiong already.

Yup even though it was slightly drizzling,
Me and my sis had to be a human pole.. so mum can learn parking.. ahaha!
Dad was her driving instructor.. (sweet right?? LOL!)

So it has been 3 days..
All 3 days it rained.
Me and sis braved the elements, and - my mum's driving. ahaha!
No wonder I'm feeling unwell today.. -__-"
But hey! I had a go at driving around the carpark too! fun kepe.. whahaha!

I read the teletext news, and they (NEA) said they caught quite
alot of rats at the premises.
BUT i wonder,
Why is it that only people who ate only at the rojak stall had food poisoning right?
Why are the other foods not affected?

So I think this might be the reason..

Rat's change of taste in todays world lah..
They seemed to go nuts about the indian rojak gravy.
Coz afterall, Indian rojak gravy contain nuts anyways.
They might even swim in the gravy if they want to. haha!
Okay okay..
the above rats look rather cute.
I think the rats at Geylang are more menacing,
like the one below..

I noticed more and more Singaporeans eat out..
I guess more and more are too busy with their lives to actually cook at home.
Singapore after all is a fast paced society..heh.

Then throw rubbish anyhow. nabey buah langsat betol.

Ok so we need to be careful at where we eat!
Check the surroundings!
Smell the air!
Hear the sounds!
Taste the left-overs!

If you do.. I suggest you run! LOL.

Sometimes its not the rats fault lah.
They have to eat too mah..
So got opportunity to eat good food, eat lah right?
See.. Like most typical Singaporeans. haha!

So I've got to say that Singaporeans should eat at home..! (yeah even me..hehe!)
Cook lah dont be lazy.. Its not that hard mah..
Go buy cookbooks, search online recipes, impress others!
And its definately more cheaper than eating out,
and I would say its more safer lah (provided you know what you're doing lah..haha)

If people still stubborn, I guess the next step is
to introduce pre-makan warnings at strategic locations.
To remind everyone that theres risk involved when eating out.

Power! But i recommend you eat this only once a month.

The customers can read this while waiting for their turn.
More than enough time for them to absorb & realise that theres THE RISK.

Got one moment when she wanted to shower at my place when her toilet was renovating. Funny sia.

Heard the news about the major case of food poisoning in Geylang Serai market?
Where more than 100 got sick after consuming a seemingly normal Indian Rojak.
And 1 of them (a makcik) died after going into a coma.
Guess the owner will have a rojak life ahead of him. :P
I was at that market with my mum doing some market-ing.
We ate there at the hawker centre and lucky we never ordered that rojak..
Its a famous rojak stall by the way.
Well investigations are still ongoing so I can't say anything much or blame the owner.
