I love first-person-shooter games.
After I recently finished playing GTA4,
I was hoping, are there any other games like GTA?

Now FarCry2 is out! And it's like GTA.
I heard it has visually stunning 3D environment (African setting),
good story-line,
great gameplay with lots of action, yes, shoot and kill gang thugs!
woohoo!
I'm having Geekasm just thinking about it.

As required by my Public Relations module to look for the definition of
"Globalization"
(online) lead me to this:

What is the truest definition of Globalization?

Princess Diana's death -
An English princess
with an Egyptian boyfriend
crashes in a French tunnel,
driving a German car
with a Dutch engine,
driven by a Belgian who was drunk
on Scottish whisky,
followed closely by Italian Paparazzi,
on Japanese motorcycles;
treated by an American doctor,
using Brazilian medicines.
and you're probably reading this on your computer,
that use Taiwanese chips,
and a Korean monitor,
assembled by Bangladeshi workers
in a Singapore plant,
That, my friend, is Globalization.

(i can't use black cos then you can't see it..ahaha!)

.
.

-___________-"

After reading through some stuffs online
(while looking for the definition globalisation..hee. Sidetracked uh)
,
I realised how little the US Presidential candidates, Obama and McCain talked about global poverty.
hmmm..

One billion people live on under $1 a day — the definition of extreme poverty.
Every year 10 million children die from preventable poverty-related malnutrition and infections.
Over 850 million people in the world are undernourished.

Surely it's in our global interest to help alleviate extreme poverty.
Let's hope the candidates are forced to address it.

No more "blind" wars please.

urgh.
gotta get my assignment together man..

The latest news about the whereabouts of Jennifer Hudson's nephew, 7 year old Julian Hudson, was finally revealed.
He was kidnapped by a supposedly siao and angry relative a few days ago.
Sadly,
Julian was found slumped over in the back seat of an SUV, shot in the head.
A bullet was found lodged in the vehicle, leading detectives to believe he had been shot in the vehicle.
Police don't know precisely when he was killed, saying they are waiting for more information from the medical examiner's office.
Police are hoping to find physical evidence at the two crime scenes that breaks the case.
(Part taken from chicagotribune.com)
To know more, search through for "Jennifer Hudson news" or just go to mentioned website.

Such a terrible way to die at such a young age.
May God bless his soul.

Must be a cockroach or something.
Already there are 2 cockroaches laying dead in the house,
1 near the stairs,
1 at the living room.
My cats are true cockroach killers bebeh. ahaha!
The only part I hate is to clean up their massacre mess!

Support local talent!
Support local food!
Continue eating ketupats, lontongs and lemangs!

Stop all hate,
or you might as well be dead.

Thats ok -
Composer: Daney

(Intro)
Life can be so complicated.
Even if it's just keeping silent.

Thats ok.

verse 1:
I heard this from this person.
I heard that from that person.
And all this while I've been in the middle,
to just listen and keep silent about it.

But thats ok.
It's between them and them and thats it.
Not what I would want to listen to, I don't feel happy - no way.

When one moment I had no one to turn to,
and when I needed help,
I was shun and ignored,
I was turned like a fool.

But thats ok.
It's between them and them and thats it.
Not what I would want to listen to, I don't feel happy - no way.

I did nothing wrong. yeah.
I'm not the type to back-stab. yeah.
I did not talk anything bad about anybody.
I just kept silent.
That was back then. yeah.

I wanted myself to change,
thats my Ramadan re-so-lu-tion.
But I found myself with big emotional hurdles,
it changed me the other way round, a self execution.

But thats ok.
It's between them and them and thats it.
Not what I would want to listen to, I don't feel happy - no way.

I still wanted to change.

I did not want to think of what happened, nor what people did to me.

Yet after all I've been through,
hoping to start over again,
another hurdle I never wanted came true.

People wanted to change people.
People making people hate people.
People influencing other people.
People following other people.

(verse 1)

But thats ok.
It's between them and them and thats it.
Not what I would want to listen to, I don't feel happy - no way.

I had nothing against you.
You said you do not want to get involve.
And I'm not saying you're bad still.
Carry on and the matter won't solve.

Stop being living examples of hypocrites,
in front of my eyes..
Coz,
(verse 1)

People wanted to change people.
People making people hate people.
People influencing other people.
People following other people.

Why bother.
Thats ok. yeah. Thats ok.

(Outro)
Life can be so complicated
With people like you - why not it be
(fade)

LiveToEat

Planning where to eat is mind draining.
Especially me, so indecisive at times. haha.

Watching tv shows like those about makan and stuff
really give "the push" to actually go out and eat.

So me and family decided to go to Mackenzie Rex Restaurant,
after my mum watched the show "Jalan-jalan cari makan"
(Walk walk find food)

No.
No T-rex cooked in sweet sour sauce here.

Upon arrival,
with heavy rain pouring on us and half my body wet,
I can see over the counter that this place received commendations like "Anugerah Daun Pisang" and "Jalan-jalan cari makan" for its Chicken Rice..

Unfortunately, i don't find its chicken rice any special.
The squid charkuay, prawn fritters, chicken wrapped with tofu skin, sweet sour fish.. urhh. average.
-___-"

The only thing nice is their chicken rice sambal and wet tissue (which smelled nice).

...

Anyway i LOVE to eat.
Call me a food adventurer coz i like to try new things/food.
If there are no halal restrictions I would have tried all kinds of food.
But pork is still out lah. I don't find it appetizing..ahaha!

Last year in Thailand,
I could have tried the bugs sold on the streets if someone dared me to.
And travelling around the world to explore food is 1 of the things i would want to do.
So tourism here I come!
I'm pretty sure there are halal food places around the world.

For now i just see shows like
Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations on Discovery Channel Travel&Living lah.
Sian.

And darn! if i know Nitec in Culinary Skills (Yes Nitec, Not Higher Nitec) can forward to diploma,
i would have joined that course!
In the news, a top student in that course, with scholarship, got to study in France!

-___-"
urghhh. wah piang. sakit perot seh aku bila dengar tu.

Je suis bon trop vous sais!!

why ooooh whyyyyyy!!??

My teacher Mdm R, wants me to write an official letter to why i didn't attend her class on Friday.
Which is kinda ridiculous.

This is what my letter would look like is IF i were to write:

Dear Mdm R,

As I am required to write a letter about the reason why I did not attend your class, this is my letter.

I don't feel like attending classes after 12pm that day. That is called skipping class.

I apologize for not attending your class.

Your faithfully,
Dane

Thats the truth what.

Of course I won't bother to write lah.
What is she going to do? Make me write lines?

Ok ok skipping classes is not good. I know.
1st week is bo chiap.
2nd week and beyond shall be better. I hope.

rat-TUTT-to-weee!

Saturday, October 18, 2008 at 1:40 AM
I find Tutting extremely amusing and entertaining to watch..! ahaha!
Dunno why they call it Tutting,
Only King Tut crosses my mind,
thanks to my daily overdose of National Geographic programs. ehehe!

[After searching through Wikipedia]

This is what i found:

Tutting is the name given to a contemporary abstract interpretive dance style that exploits the body's ability to create geometric positions and movements, predominantly with the use of right angles. It is performed with minute attention to the musical rhythm, typically by altering positions in a stop-and-go fashion.

'Tutting' referring to a distinct style gained usage with the advent of funk styles during the early 1980s. Within that community, dancers would use tutting poses while performing popping routines. One would 'hit' one position and then move immediately onto the next, similar in action to the robot popping routine only slightly faster. These movements made use of the wrists, elbows, and shoulders to create the desired right angle.

Presumably, the dance began as a mimicking of the angular poses common to ancient Egyptian art. In the early half of the 20th century, these poses were performed by various groups for comical effect (see the article Walking like an Egyptian). Tutting as a whole or certain tutting moves have been referred to as
' King Tut'; it is likely from this colloquialism for the Pharaoh Tutankhamen, as a representative of ancient Egypt in western popular culture, that the form gained its name. For this reason, Tutting is sometimes incorrectly identified as the related cultural phenomenon "Walking like an Egyptian".

(Adopted from Wikipedia eh)

Wahhhh. It does have something to do with King Tut after all.. lol!

Just watch this yaww.

Man this guy is good. haha!

GoInflateYourself

How many of you guys are affected by the global recession?
Are you even aware of it?

Maybe because its something that cannot be seen,
Pay this pay that.
Spend spend spend.
Money is like water
(like what my mum say la..hehe)

Maybe because you've not start earning your own money,
no family yet,
no car yet,
no organization/company yet,
no life,
no time,
no lighter.

:P

In newspaper nowadays, (free ones at bus/mrt interchanges :P )
there is bound to have articles about:

1. Inflation,
2. Recession,
3. Depression,
4. Suppression,
5. Invasion,
6. Negotiation,
7. Tuition,
8. Television,
9. Foreign Worker Seclusion,
10. Milk (and now, other types of food) Contamination.

Okay i'm focusing only the first 3 lah, the others i tambah2 only, yet true also lah kan..hee!
Oh just ignore the rainbow colors.

Anyway,
Business of all types get affected.
Even Bridal and Match-making agencies are affected.
simply coz men are in no mood for love this year. haha!

SO like what i learned in class earlier,
Project Management that is, (chey..attentive jugak aku ni)
thanks to Ms LeeFM,
This year is, Pre-recession
Next year, it'll be THE RECESSION, jeng jeng jeng.. a prediction la

Which equals to (at company level)
High Prices
High operating cost
The need to save
Which means cutting cost
Some will lose their jobs
Company might not hire people.

To survive = Cut cost
Thats the fact.

Graduating students hearing that from a teacher feels kinda..err.. scary. ahaha!
Tak perlu bilang seh cikgu. thanks ah thanks!

And GRADUATION is next year.
hmmmmm.

that sucks.
(To those who plan to work that is. Full-time.)

And my timetable still suck. #@%$!
Hooray to a suck-cessful year!
I hope not.

Anyway, with the F1 mayhem fading away from our minds,
Me, Baby and her younger bro, Muhammad

Our motive was to ride the go-karts and drive like mad people.
LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YES WITHOUT SHAME I'M SAYING THIS,
IT WAS MY FIRST TIME GOING TO *ESCAPE THEMEPARK.

-_____-"

wah piang eh..

Raya & Random.

Friday, October 10, 2008 at 12:11 PM

Raya with the ex-Pixies.. haha!
Actually, when i checked dictionary.com ah
Pixie/Pixy means:
A fairylike or elfin creature, especially one that is mischievous; a playful sprite.
lol.
Okay lah. Pixel Lab-ers?
o_O?

Me, Baby, Siff, Ash & Syaza, Yusof (aka Abhijeet Sawant) & Daya
had our 1st PixelLab Jalan Raya Extragavanza! ahaha! over pulak aku
Fun and tiring day for me.
Still tired after raya-ing with IEG the day before. haha!

So..!
Day started with me going to baby's house at 10.13am to help out.
(cause her house was the 1st house)
I volunteered to clean her room..ahaha! which was..err..fun lah.

bla bla bla
the rest came at 12+
bla bla bla
eat-alot-gain-calories-drink-carbonated-drinks and strengthen friendship ties.
bla bla bla
day ended at Siff's house
i went back to baby's house to collect my stuff
reached home at 12.37am
with the $13.50 taxi fare in my head. ahaha!
ohh well. Yet the day was still worth it. (:

Lets look at something else now

Improvements to myself is ever ongoing,
people make mistakes,
people do take things for granted,
no-one is perfect.
You hear this alot on tv or from what professionals and non alike say,
But i guess, we're still not perfect in looking at ourselves, realizing our mistakes and looking ahead.
Yes i might be one of those people minus the part where "i look ahead".
Caring for someone's feelings is something simple yet will have a big effect later on, good/bad.
I do not want to make enemies in my life thats for sure.
Being more quiet (aka speak less) might do the job. Will that?
Will people say i'm not being friendly?
Will being too friendly/close might cause people to overboard and treat you differently comparing to being quiet, discreet and content?
But then again, people say don't listen to what other, yes - people say.

Imperfections can be perfected. And yes i would want that.
Yes, all humans wants to be perfect in a way.
That's why animals evolve to adapt and survive during their million years of existence.
Hey, we might evolve wings in 3468714701231 years.
Who knows?
There IS a need for us to fly off and avoid danger (or facts of life, the unfairness part) right?

Bottomline -
I made mistakes, I'm sorry I treat your friend badly or whatever that seems bad to your eyes,
Yes, It's not wrong to care and have concern for a friend.
I'm sorry.
Change - the thing thats in my my now. I want that.

Life is just full of balances.
And balances can never make life full.
OR
Balances CAN make life "full".
Yup same case if you eat too much. ahaha!
Just don't throw up at the wrong time.

Gee what a day today. Tired but bored at home.
The reason why I'm having this post.
weeee..!
...ZzZZZzz

*i love you.*

The other characters are just as funny.
Achmed the terrorist! wahaha!
Gawd i'll never get bored of it.

hope this will keep the flow goin' yeah?

These adorable kids are either:

1. Practicing car pooling at a very young age.
With the environment and car-overpopulation concerns in Singapore,
the government encourages car pooling.
If an average car seats 5 people,
1 (A) will be the driver.
The other 4 (B,C,D & E) will be freeloaders.
However, if "B" decides to drive, "C,D & E" will be freeloaders while "A" will be a jackass.
If "A,B,C,D & E" can't decide where to go and are going to different destinations,
Duduk rumah tido sudah!
- or take public transport. peace.

Too bad all kiddy rides are only 2 seaters max.
Hope they're not going to be a future organized car jacking gang though. haha

2. Maximizing their dollar.
An important skill other than being thrifty.
Every dollar spent must be made full use of, yes, this is called maximizing.

The following is the equation, I came out with, to attain maximization:

10(x-1)= 10x- 10 you can rewrite that as 1000- 10x+10= 1010- 10x. Of course, if the price is x dollars each, then the fun is x times the number of thrill seekers or just
x(1010- 10x)= 1010x- 10x^2.
Hmmm.. yeeeeaah (asal boleh je aku..ahaha!) o.O?
Go figure.

3. Fostering teamwork.
Cooperative or coordinated effort on the part of a group (sociology) of persons acting together as a team or in the interests of a common cause, unison for a higher cause, people working together for a selfless purpose, and so on.
(Adopted from Wikipedia lah..hehe)
Balancing on a rocking kiddy joy ride while listening to repeating-annoying-kiddy-song takes lots of skill ohkay.

4. Just kids gone wild.
Do I have to elaborate this?

5. (Darn I can't think of number 5!)

Whattt?
